“Nicotine” is melancholy and apathetic at the same time. The Glen Morrison remix retains that mood but turning it into a 4/4 house trip, with the vocals set atop a very flighty bassline. The overall mood is loose and that really characterizes the piece as a whole. California native and sound wizard Todd Mackenzie whips up a very nice downtempo rendition of this record, to great effect. And lastly, Tyler Michaud & Manuel De La Mare put together a trance progressive piece which really rolls and has a great vibe to it.

The original "Red Star" mix is an energy-filled, uplifting vocal track that has Marinella’s voice working to full effect here overtop the guitars and strings. The remix package is lush as well, with a Supabeatz remix being mellowed out and perfect for a comedown on a club set. The Marco Bastianon and Danny Verde mix is more peak time, while the Ohm Guru remix is floaty, atmospheric and goes down very well in the clubs, more so for early-on rather than later.
